Divorcemobile?

Slate.com reports on Ford Motor Company's latest commercial for their Ford Freestyle. Ford appears to be directly marketing to divorced parents.

I would like to hear from divorced parents if this ad is affirming, offensive, non-factor or whatever.

Watching the commercial, I initially thought that it was going to be a step family...husband, wife, his kid, her kid. Then I realized, they were all smiling, then laughing!! Nu uhuh!!!! Then when I realized it was the bio dad and the bio mom and the bio kids all on the little family weekend, it was an even bigger NU UHUH!!! While I'm sure that some divorced parents can get along, it just doesn't happen. The Ford company is just dreaming! So this commercial was just a little far fetched for me, but I wasn't offended.
